Fire Goat began as one of my original paintings — bold, fiery and full of movement.

Created with the upcoming Year of the Goat in mind, I wanted this piece to capture the spirit of the goat in my own way: artistic, colorful and a little unexpected. Goat is my personal Chinese astrology sign, so this one was fun to create.

The Year of the Goat begins with Lunar New Year in 2027, making Fire Goat a special way to welcome the year — but like all of my mats, it was designed to be enjoyed long after the celebration is over.

Created from my original artwork and designed especially for the mahjong table, Fire Goat is part of the Mahj by Lori collection.
