Mahj by Lori began with a love of color, creativity, and the joy of gathering around a Mahjong table.

Lori is an artist and retired firefighter who believes that everyday moments can be made more beautiful through art. After years of serving her community, she now channels that same dedication and energy into painting and designing pieces that bring color and personality into people’s lives.

Each Mahj by Lori mat begins as an original painting. The artwork is then transformed into a playing surface designed for American Mahjong—soft, durable, and full of character.

The first run of Mahj by Lori mats marks the beginning of the brand and a celebration of creativity, connection, and play.
