From the Firehouse to the Art Studio


Lori is a retired firefighter, artist, Reiki Master, and lifelong creative who believes art has the power to bring people together.


What began with a paintbrush and a canvas has grown into Mahj by Lori, a collection of luxury Mahjong mats and tile sets created from Lori’s original artwork. Every design starts as a Reiki-infused painting before being transformed into a beautiful playing surface designed for American Mahjong.


Inspired by nature, whimsy, color, and connection, each collection is produced in small batches, making every mat and tile set a unique expression of art at the table.


Whether you’re gathering for a lively Mahjong night with friends or enjoying a quiet afternoon game, Mahj by Lori was created to bring beauty, joy, and conversation to the places where people connect.
