Mahj by Lori began with a paintbrush, not a Mahjong table.

I’m Lori-a retired firefighter, artist, Mahjong lover, and lifelong believer that art has the power to bring people together. Every Mahj by Lori mat starts as an original Reiki infused original painting on canvas before being transformed into a luxurious Mahjong play surface.

My goal is simple: to create pieces that make people smile, spark conversation, and bring a little more beauty to the tables where friends gather.

From whimsical dragonflies and dragons, to colorful, joy-filled collections, each design is rooted in original artwork and created to both functional and meaningful.
